Job Description
For our client which provides advisory services business consulting and IT implementations with a focus on the financial services and insurance industries we are looking for a SAP BW Consultant/Business Analyst.
Our client is a global consulting and IT services firm that helps Financial Services Business and IT leaders address business challenges by providing innovative solutions and leveraging effective delivery models which are tailored to your needs and business priorities. They are your trusted partner in conceptualizing finance and accounting controlling and MIS strategies and solutions. They implement transformation programs in an effective and efficient model; combining local presence with nearshore delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Providing functional and or technical expertise to plan analyze define and support the delivery of future functional and technical capabilities for an application or group of applications;
- Assisting in facilitating impact assessment efforts and in producing and reviewing estimates for client work requests;
- Studying and analyzingthe reporting business requirements and discussing them with the business in the business language;
- Writing BW specifications potentially also designing a new cubes and developing BW reports;
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business Administration or a related field;
- Strong understanding of the reporting business requirements;
- Financial services sector experience a plus;
- Experience in working as a SAP BW Consultant or SAP Business Analyst;
- Strong knowledge of SAP BW including data modelling ETL processes and reporting;
- Understanding SAP FI/CO processes and data;
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data extraction and transformation;
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) is a plus;
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and organizational skills;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams;
- Ability to communicate with company representatives in a business language;
- Fluent English language.
