Position Description
POSITION TITLE:Bus Driver
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or G.E.D. required
Must be able to read and follow a series of directions or instructions.
Must be able to lift turn twist and bend on a frequent basis.
Must be able to push and pull a minimum of 60 lbs. on a frequent basis.
Must be 21 years of age or older
- Class B CDL required (onsite training available)
- Must pass DOT Physical and preemployment drug and alcohol screen
REPORTS TO:Transportation Director
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Student management
Pretrip and posttrip bus inspections daily
Maintain and clean the interior of the bus
Maintain an uptodate seating chart
Report behavorial issues to bus discipline supervisor
- Attend required driver trainings
