Located in historic Downtown Noblesville Grindstone Public House is your bustling neighborhood restaurant serving elevated American fare and classic cocktails to help you unwind after the grind. Who you are:The Prep Cook will work closely with the BOH management team to drive service each day and inspire team members to work together and hold one another accountable to the standards set. The Prep Cook will maintain compliance with DOH standards cleanliness efficiency and overall excellence. This role could also include opening or closing duties or stepping in to needed roles in the restaurant as business demands.
What youll do:
- Ability to execute and maintain the preparations and recipes
- Have a basic knowledge base of classic cooking techniques and ability to demonstrate these techniques
- Ability to demonstrate proper knifeskills andworkspacetidiness in a fastpaced environment
- Stay up to date on menu changes for all Lunch and Dinner shifts
What we need from you:
- Have knowledge of Department of Health (DOH) standards
- 1 year experience
- Excellent Emotional Self Awareness under pressure while maintaining a graceful warm presence
- Curious Intelligence to continue learning in the position
- Open availability and a career mentality
