Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Produce content for Hypegolf and Hypemaps social media accounts.
- Hypegolf: Produce at least one post a day and one socialfirst video a week.
- Hypemaps: Produce 1 original content piece (guide contributor guide video) a week.
- Identify stories and news trending on social media/web platforms for coverage consideration.
- Maintain the social media calendar through scheduling applications such as Later.
- Attend local events in the New York City area. Be willing to travel for content opportunities.
- Lead community management by responding to comments answering messages and encouraging UGC.
- Present ideas for social franchises along with a plan to execute them.
- Coordinate with remote teams to share assets across regions when relevant. Work closely with the social and editorial teams.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
- Golf: Knowledge of the modern golf landscape whether through playing watching or consuming content.
- Travel: Active experience and interest in the travel sector. International passport and ability to travel required.
- Track record of growth on professional and/or personal social media platforms.
- Understanding of lifestyle/street culture and current creative/visual trends in a range of industries.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop Premiere Pro and Capcut preferred.
