Enbridge is hiring an Electrical Technician III right nowwhen you apply Raise will review your application within 48 hours and contact qualified applicants for interviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain repair install and commission equipment such as motors motor control centers medium voltage switchgear instrumentation equipment communication networks and other electrical equipment.
- Align with all Company Policies and ensure that work is performed in compliance with company Operating and Maintenance (O&M) procedure requirements.
- Complete and stay current with all required safety and technical training.
- Maintain repair and troubleshoot our pipeline systems electrical equipment including substation equipment medium voltage switchgear motor control centers communication networks and instrumentation systems.
- Coordinate with Supervisors Planners Schedulers other Technicians and other stakeholders as required to plan schedule and finish the work safely and efficiently.
- Use work management software to document maintenance work maintain facility records and update drawings as required.
- Maintain facilities for cleanliness safety and security.
- Execute onecall requests and crossing reports. Line locating when required.
Qualifications:
- Journeyperson Electrical with interprovincial certification and a minimum of 4 years of related industrial experience.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with aboveaverage analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A valid drivers license is required which will be verified with a drivers abstract check prior to hire.
- Undergo various background screenings including but not limited to a 5year driving record criminal check and companysponsored medical and drug testing.
Working Conditions:
- Schedule: Monday Friday with an oncall rotation. Emergency response and overtime as required.
- This position requires climbing bending lifting standing and crouching on a repetitive basis.
- Daily travel required within the area. Occasional travel within Canada.
