The primary duties of a successful Project Director will focus on program and project leadership operations business development contract negotiation scheduling cost management and forecasting client relations design coordination planning and change management. The Project Director is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction with our services on assigned projects.
This position will collaborate with senior managers estimators schedulers and other construction professionals across Vanirs divisions. This position will report to the Area Manager.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Project Director is responsible for project operations and management including the ability to:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Engineering Construction Management or Architecture is required
15 years of recent experience providing project and program management services during all phases of the design procurement and construction phases on public works projects in the State of California in excess of $500 million is required
A strong technical and practical background in a combination of the following market sectors education healthcare municipal justice jail and/or detention facility construction projects
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment is critical
Knowledge and application of construction estimating cost project controls/scheduling documentation engineering/construction principles techniques materials applications and practices
Experience in alternative project delivery methods including DesignBuild and Progressive DesignBuild
Certificates or Licenses
Offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of nondiscriminatory factors including education qualifications experience and geographic location. The Salary range for this position is $185000.00$205000.00.
