WIFI Test Engineer

Job Description
Infosys is seeking Wifi Test Engineer This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged excellence is rewarded and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Philadelphia PA Or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
Technical experience directly working with WiFi / RF in computer architecture and data communications.
Experience with Wireless technology testing which includes Wireless APs Routers Wireless extenders & Wireless standards 802.11b/g/n/ac/ax)
Knowledge of realworld wireless environments.
Experience working with TCP/IP UDP IPv4/IPv6 addressing Ethernet DHCP DNS ICMP ARP NAT Bridging Switching.
Familiarity with industry standard WiFi test tools like Veriwave IXIA Chariot and packet debuggers like Wireshark Omnipeek and Savius.
Has a technical background in secondary home networking technologies such as Bluetooth Zigbee MoCA and Ethernet in a DOCSIS environment.
Familiarity with RF chambers Octoscope Lindgren etc.
Comfortable in some scripting language of choice
Must be able to work independently
Strong background in designing or extending existing test frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent Debugging skills & experience troubleshooting
Working knowledge of UNIXbased systems and commandline tools for analysis and automation Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of and experience with the full product development lifecycle including functional and technical specifications product use cases user stories implementation QA processes deployment and maintenance
Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while confidently driving multiple projects across many teams

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
