Are you an innovative leader with a passion for quality Do you have experience in effectively coordinating shiftbased production staff and resources We are looking for a supervisor with a production/assembly background to work within our valve assembly/various Production departments. You will champion improvement activities and support team members in these areas while also ensuring quality standards are met. You will be joining an innovative forwardthinking team within a Global manufacturer that believes in developing potential across all departments.
Role Responsibility:We have ambitious plans to stay independently owned and operated continue global expansion and maintain our position as the market leader through innovation and customer delight.
To help achieve our plans we are looking to appoint a Maintenance Technician to assist the Maintenance Engineers Maintenance Team Leader and Plant Engineering Manager to keep the site running and contribute to process improvements.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
Coordinate shiftbased production staff and team resources to meet business requirements.
Set and communicate production requirements and flex resources accordingly.
Facilitate and coordinate resources to ensure quality standards are met.
Ensure all staff is being trained using TWI methodology coordinating with the L&D department.
Support team members in identifying improvement activities and problemsolving acting as a champion in these areas.
Carry out firstline performance management of the team including coaching/mentoring staff to improve performance (aligned to the production metrics) and appraising team members.
Ensure Quality Environmental and Health & Safety requirements are met and all staff adheres to procedures and practices.
Help control shift budgetary spend with the support of the Business Unit Manager.
