About the Role
JLegal Australia is partnering exclusively with a global technology organisation a leader in cutting edge cloud infrastructure fintech and cyber security. Report to General Counsel in a dynamic legal team to support the business across the APAC region with a full range of commercial risk and regulatory responsibilities.
The successful candidate of 48 Years PQE will be commercially driven and with a background in technology and ideally fintech. Exceptional stakeholder skills are essential to create and maintain relationships with internal clients and the wider legal team across the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating supply and wholesale contracts / service agreements and advising on legal issues
- Support the global business with regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Support the commercial teams on legal and commercial challenges arising from substantial growth across the APAC region
- Liaise with commercial personnel on the preparation of responses to customer tenders with particular emphasis on reviewing and preparing legal responses to any proposed terms and conditions
- Draft customer contracts in collaboration with Bid Teams Deal Desk Sales and Sales Support Teams
- Manage contracting processes and procedure strategies to identify and manage legal risk
The Successful Candidate
- Lawyer admitted to practice in NSW with 48 years PQE
- Experience obtained from a leading law firm with ideally some additional inhouse experience within the fintech sector
- Outstanding drafting skillset with a focus on service contracts including issues delivery and implementation
- Strong initiative selfmotivated and excellent relationship skills
