Senior Machine Learning Engineer Sales Leader Experience
Job Summary:
Were seeking a talented Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join a highimpact mission within the Sales Product Group. Sales is dedicated to providing a top of the line experience for sales reps and leaders. We are helping our customers sales teams in growing their businesses by providing tools automation and insights.
This engineer will join the Forecasting Backend Team. This team is the backbone of experience that empowers Sales leaders to understand their business performance. This experience provides rich insights and guidance to the managers to forecast their business outcomes. We build this by leveraging diverse datasets designing scalable BE systems and integrating Machine Learning solutions. The team is composed of engineers product managers and designers who work together to develop ML powered product solutions
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement algorithms and statistical models for predictive analytics
- Build train and evaluate machine learning models using different techniques such as regression timeseries classification clustering etc.
- Analyze and preprocess rich and complex datasets to extract relevant features and insights.
- Conduct experiments and evaluations of machine learning models using statistical methods and visualization tools to assess performance and identify areas for improvement
- Implement and deploy machine learning algorithms in a scalable and efficient manner working closely with software engineer
- Collaborate with product managers to define and refine requirements and use cases for predictive AI
- Keep up to date with the latest research and trends in Predictive AI and contribute to the development of new algorithms and techniques
- Participate in code reviews testing and documentation activities ensuring high quality and maintainability of the codebase
- Mentor other team members and proactively share knowledge
Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science Engineering or related fields with a focus on machine learning and statistical methods
- 5 years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models and algorithms preferably in statistical modeling
- Proficiency in Python programming and machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow PyTorch and scikitlearn
- Comfort working with SQL and connecting data from a variety of disparate sources
- Familiarity with propensity models timeseries graph neural networks etc.
- Experience working with imbalanced and sparse datasets
- Experience evaluating predictive model performance in production and iterating on models based on user feedback
- Experience mentoring other team members and helping to define best practices for the group
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a fastpaced interdisciplinary team environment.

Cash compensation range:USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary ontarget commission for employees in eligible roles and annual bonus targets under HubSpots bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpots equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate including their skills experience qualifications and other jobrelated reasons.
