I. Major Responsibilities:
1. Provides direct clinical treatment to adults children and adolescents as represented in the caseload through diagnostic evaluations and screenings; crisis/emergency assessment and intervention; treatment planning and assessment; individual group couple and family therapy.
2. Participates in interdisciplinary and integrated diagnostic treatment and planning conferences.
3. Consults with area schools doctors/primary care individuals and other social service agencies insurance providers and hospital networks regarding clients client services and case management as applicable.
4. Maintains client records and administrative records consistent with policy.
5. Attends administrative staff meetings as .
6. Attends seminars inservice education clinical supervision and professional meetings as .
7. Participates in required trainings.
II. Position Qualifications:
License/Certification/Education:
Required:
1. In a Masters or Doctoral level program in Mental Health Counseling Social Work Marriage and Family Therapy Clinical Psychology or related program.
2. Satisfactory CORI background check.
3. Driving is not a requirement.
Experience/Skills:
Required:
1. Ability to perform diagnostic and risk assessments using current accepted tools and best practices to determine appropriate level of care.
2. Can develop and implement treatment plans which are behaviorally oriented measurable and appropriate for the identified level of care.
Unless certification licensure or registration is an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
Departmentspecific competencies and their measurements will be developed and maintained in the individual departments. The competencies will be maintained and attached to the departmental job description. Responsible managers will review competencies with position incumbents.
