Qualifications include:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field
- Engineer In Training license preferred or desire to obtain
Practical work experience you will gain includes:
Civil Engineering:
- Preparation of hydrology hydraulic and drainage calculations
- PostConstruction Stormwater Management Best Management Practices calculations and design
- AutoCAD/Civil 3D and standard drafting techniques and applications with experience in the preparation of the following:
- Creating 3D surfaces
- Grading plans
- Profiles/crosssections
- Pipe networks and corridors
- Collaboratively working with Project Managers and Task Managers to deliver products to clients that are technically sound onschedule and onbudget.
Environmental Engineering:
- Perform investigation of soil sediment groundwater contamination
- Interpret and analyze geologic hydrogeologic and contaminant field and analytical data
- Work with team to develop environmental strategies and remedial designs
- Computer modeling of groundwater/contaminant migration and attenuation
- Assist in design of water/wastewater and soil/groundwater treatment systems
- Utilize AutoCAD and/or GIS for characterization and remedial plans
- Conduct ecological and human risk evaluations
- Help design sustainable insitu bioremediation and chemical oxidation remedies
