Location: Various locations across Louisiana (New Orleans Baton Rouge Alexandria Lake Charles Lafayette Thibodaux Hammond Monroe Bossier City)
Employment Type: Per Diem (Emergency Staffing)
Hourly Rate: $24.00/hr (negotiable based on contract)

Position Overview:
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) will provide essential nursing care during statedeclared emergencies working in critical settings such as Medical Special Needs Shelters (MSNS) Points of Dispensing Sites (PODS) urgent care centers and Temporary Medical Operation Staging Areas (TMOSA).

- Emergency Response: Must be available to deploy within 1224 hours of activation
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduation from an accredited LPN program
- Licensure: Active unencumbered LPN license in any U.S. state
- Experience: 1 years in Emergency Medicine or Acute Care preferred
- Technical Skills: Patient assessment and monitoring medication and vaccination administration wound care and basic treatments emergency medical assistance
- Soft Skills: Adaptability in fastchanging environments strong clinical observation skills team collaboration abilities compassionate patient care
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor conditions
- Administer medications and vaccinations as prescribed
- Provide wound care and basic medical treatments
- Assist RNs and physicians with emergency procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Educate patients and families on care plans
