Job Description

Location:School of Nursing

Hours:Fulltime Salary

Job Summary:Southern Adventist University School of Nursing seeks fulltime graduate faculty to join our missionfocused team. Teaching responsibilities will be primarily at the MSN and DNP levels. Candidate must hold current Psychiatric Mental Health NP certification. Requisite qualities include advanced practice PMHNP experience interest in research successful teaching flexibility and commitment to SDA education. The candidate must be a member in good and regular standing in the SDA Church. Doctorate strongly preferred; MSN required. The candidate must be a member in good and regular standing in the Seventhday Adventist Church.

Special Requirements:Must have an expressed commitment to Jesus Christ and the teachings and mission of the Seventhday Adventist Church be an SDA church member in good and regular standing.

Typical Physical Demands:Requires sitting standing bending and reaching. May require lifting up to 30 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers calculators telephone and other office equipment.

Working Conditions:Essential tasks are performed under normal office/school conditions with little or no noticeable discomfort. Work area is well lighted and ventilated.
