Egis is looking for an experienced Project Director to work in the Aviation Service Line based in the Philippines. This will support our operations regionally manage a portfolio of strategic projects for the Service Line.
- Project Leadership and Oversight:
- Lead and oversee the entire aviation project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
- Monitor project performance provide direction and resolve issues as they arise.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all key stakeholders including clients team members and senior management.
- Project Planning and Strategy:
- Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines resources budgets and risk management strategies.
- Define project scope goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and clients.
- Set clear expectations for the project team and ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Resource and Budget Management:
- Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely completion of the project.
- Oversee project budgets ensuring that the project remains on track financially.
- Monitor expenditures and financial forecasts making adjustments as needed to maintain budgetary control.
- Team Management and Development:
- Lead mentor and motivate project teams ensuring high levels of performance and collaboration.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional development and growth.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communication across all levels of the organization.
- Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify potential project risks and take proactive steps to mitigate them.
- Handle any project issues that arise making decisions to keep the project moving forward.
- Maintain regular risk assessments to identify new challenges or obstacles and address them swiftly.
- Business development:
- Identify potential opportunities of Airport Design or masterplan projects in the region and work directly with Asia Aviation Director in pursuing these opportunities.
- Eventually become bid for Airport opportunities and work with support of the Tender Unit to prepare technically sound proposals.
Qualifications :
EDUCATION LEVEL
Degree in relevant engineering or architectural discipline
Master degree preferred but not essential.
Project Management Professional Certification beneficial
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 15 years experience within global engineering or consulting organisation.
Experience in managing engineering activities In the aviation sector
Experience in managing the whole life cycle of the project from planning initiation implementation and closure.
Experience working in Asia a must. Cultural understanding of Asian customers
SKILLS
Strongly proficient in MS Office Planning and Project Controls methods
Demonstrated experience to work in international and multicultural environment
