RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help monitor news coverage cultural and industry trends and social conversations across different digital platforms (news sites Twitter Reddit YouTube LinkedIn Instagram Facebook etc.
- Research reporters and media outlets
- Write materials for press outreach press releases social copy blog posts and other communication mediums
- Work with social media leads to engage with our audiences across all owned social platforms
- Assist with plans and reports
- Schedule and/or approve social posts in publishing platform
- Monitor competitor and partner social feeds
- Help to manage a global content calendar across all Dolby Labs and Dolby Cinema social channels
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong communications skills especially writing and editing
- Experience and/or coursework in journalism communications marketing or media
- Storytelling chops know how to tell an irresistible story
- Knowledge of social media and public relations best practices
- Intellectual curiosity
- Ability to explain complex ideas simply and concisely
- Interest in consumer technology and/or the entertainment industry
ELIGIBILITY
Working towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing Communications Public Relations Journalism or a related field; recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to apply
Must be available to work fulltime Monday Friday for 3 months between January 2022 April 2022. The start date for this position is Monday January 24 2022. Please note the start date isnotflexible.
