Successfully instruct designated Forklift Operator Certification course.
Essential Functions
Prepare and communicate clear educational objectives while presenting current and accurate course content to the student Maintain a professional teaching environment Communicate with Training Coordinator regarding room media and copy needs Maintain control of purchased supplies for class Provide students with evaluation forms for completion Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands
Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 50 pounds Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50 of the time Use of manual dexterity The person in this position frequently communicates with others; must be able to exchange accurate information The person in this position needs to occasionally move from office to classroom Office and classroom setting Duties indoors and some outdoors Ability to safely use power tools hand tools and other equipment
Required Qualifications
35 years of direct forklift operation experience Must be available to instruct in afternoons evenings or weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
NCCER Certification OSHA Instructor Certification Prior classroom or onthejob teaching experience
