Job Description
Stoney Point Meadows a 95unit senior living community is hiring FullTimeTrained Medication Aides (TMAs)to join our team!
Our new building is nestled in the quiet countryside meadows of southwest Cedar Rapids Iowa. In addition to idyllic views staff enjoy being close to shopping entertainment and medical services. Our sixacre campus is located on Stoney Point Road and 16th Ave; easily accessible!

There are FullTime benefit eligible positions available working a varied schedule.
FullTime and PartTime Shifts:
Day (PartTime) : 7am3:30pm
Evening3:00pm to 11:30pm

What does a Trained Medication Aide do
- Prepare and administer medications in accordance with Stoney Point Meadows policies.
- Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
- Review and follow a written care plan.
- Measure and record vital signs including pulse temperature and blood pressure on new computerized software.
- Assist with various resident cares such as answering light calls feeding and helping residents to the bathroom.
- Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor.
- Perform other duties as requested.
What does a Trained Medication Aide require
- Current Iowa Nursing Assistant certification required.
- Must hold current TMA certification in Iowa.
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
- Must be able to stand for length of 8hour shift.
- Team player who has a passion for elder care and adapts quickly to changing situations.
- Must be reliable kind and compassionate.
