Position Overview:We are looking for a reliable and safetyconscious AZ Driver to transport heavy equipment and aggregate to and from job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of road safety regulations excellent driving skills and the ability to operate a float with precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Heavy Trucks (Tandem/Triaxle) Trailer and pups.
- Adhere to all traffic laws regulations and company policies to ensure a safe and efficient transport process.
- Conduct pretrip and posttrip inspections of the truck and trailer; and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Secure loads properly ensuring that all items are safely strapped and secured for transport.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities including driver logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch other drivers and onsite personnel to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
- Ensure the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the truck and trailer.
Thisposition will earn up to $36.00/hr CAD (depending on experience) plus $1.00/hr Safety Bonus.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ontario AZ or DZ license with a clean driving record.
Education and Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
