Job Description

They are an awardwinning multidisciplinary engineering firm established in 1957 and headquartered in Greensboro North Carolina. Our client provides MEP fire protection and structural engineering services as well as comprehensive building solutions for their clients across the United States and Mexico. The successful candidate will provide leadership and technical expertise on highimpact projects guiding them from initial concept to completion. Youll have the opportunity to shape complex engineering initiatives working closely with our clients and crossfunctional teams to deliver solutions that meet the highest standards of quality efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Manage multiple simultaneous projects across all stagesfrom concept design to construction completion. Guide project teams to ensure timely onbudget delivery with an emphasis on high technical quality.
- Design and Quality Control: Participate in and review construction documents drawings reports submittals and proposals to maintain quality and consistency. Ensure all design components align with project specifications.
- Field Coordination: Conduct and coordinate field measurements data collection and site inspections. Ensure accurate reporting and documentation.
- Client and Team Collaboration: Attend design coordination meetings with clients and team members foster strong client relationships and actively participate in peer reviews to enhance quality and mitigate risk.
- Financial Oversight: Prepare monthly projections track project milestones and assist with billing and invoicing.
- Mentorship and Development: Mentor junior engineers and team members sharing technical expertise and supporting their professional growth.
- Business Development Support: Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development teams on RFQs interviews and presentations.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters preferred).
- 10 years of experience in the industry preferably within a consulting engineering firm.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license with eligibility for licensure in NC SC and VA.
- Indepth knowledge of power lighting data security and fire alarm distribution systems.
- Background in building and/or industrial/manufacturing facilities is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g. Visual SKM) and construction document software.
