LET THE JOURNEY BEGIN
As a Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant at KINNECT your role will be diverse offering a wide range of responsibilities across workplace rehabilitation and injury prevention services. A key aspect of your role will involve delivering workplace rehabilitation services that help individuals engage in meaningful occupations through a clientcentered approach promoting optimal health and wellbeing. Your duties will include:
- Assessing injured and ill workers to determine the best strategies for facilitating their return to work.
- Visiting workplaces to understand the challenges injured and ill workers may face and educating employers on the health benefits of good work.
- Case managing complex injuries and coordinating with treating doctors and health professionals to support injured workers in their recovery and return to work.
- Providing clinical opinions and justifications through detailed report writing.
In addition to workplace rehabilitation services you will have the opportunity to partner with various organisations to deliver a range of other services such as:
- Conducting ergonomic assessments in workplace home and vehicle settings.
- Developing job dictionaries.
- Performing manual task risk assessments.
- Leading interactive manual handling training and implementing stretching and warmup programs.
- Conducting preemployment assessments including drug & alcohol testing audiology spirometry vision and functional testing.
