Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Banding: Band 7
Location: East Grinstead Sussex
Working Hours:37.5 per week
Rate: Competitive to be discussed upon application
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to work for our NHS client based in East Grinstead Sussex. The post is available to start as soon as possible offering fulltime hours for a shortterm contract.
What will your responsibilities be
The appointed Occupational Therapist will be responsible for carrying a clinical caseload and will need to be an excellent communicator to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. The postholder will also carry out individual and group interventions on the adult acute inpatient wards. To assess OT need and plan therapeutic OT interventions using the Model of Human Occupation. To write reports using MOHO outcome measures and to ensure uptodate and accurate records are maintained regarding all patient contact. Ensure that outcome measures are evidenced using standardised assessment tools such as OSA OCAIRS MOHOST partnership working with all relevant agencies/services/Individuals to support optimal care for patients. To develop partnership working with all relevant agencies/service/individuals to support optimal care for patients. Participate in risk assessment and formulate risk management plans.
