Job Description

Date: 03/17/2025

Position Title: Teaching and Girls Coaching Position

Teaching: 8th Grade College and Career Exploration Class

Certification: Technology Applications Mathematics Physical Science Engineering or any Vocational or Career Technical Education Certificate.

Salary Range: Base District Stipend Coaching Stipend

Position Summary: Support the success of the FISD Instructional and Athletic programs. Teaching responsibilities to be determined based on master schedule.

Position Requirements

Education/Certification/License: Valid Texas Certification

Experience: Education/Certification/License: Valid Texas Certification

Experience: Experience in teaching the CTE curriculum.

Experience in a successful athletic program

Coaching experience preferred

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and instruction in all areas needed to run a successful athletic program.
  • Provide instruction in teaching assignments
  • Maintain orderly classroom/gymnasium
  • Facilitate and monitor testing procedures related to instruction.
  • Meet and exceed state / campus goals for student performance
  • Promote mission and goals of Franklin ISD
  • Flexible in teaching schedule
