Geisingers Northeast Pennsylvania Trauma department is seeking BE/BC Critical Care Trauma Surgeons to join their state verified Level I Trauma Center located in WilkesBarre Pennsylvania.
This is an outstandingopportunity for another member to join our team in providing care to patients in all three facets of Acute Care Surgery.
In addition to clinical responsibilities the candidate will have the option to conduct clinical research and be involved in resident and medical student education withthe potentialfor an academic appointment at the Geisinger CommonwealthSchool of Medicine commensurate withyour experience. Position Details:
They have expertise in the management of the critically ill and postoperative patient particularly the trauma victim and specialize in critical care medicine diagnoses and treat and support patients with multiple organ dysfunction. This specialist may have administrative responsibilities for intensive care units and may also facilitate and coordinate patient care among the primary physician the critical care staff and other specialists.
