Duties And Responsibilities
The duties below are representative of the duties of the classification and are not intended to cover all of the duties performed by the incumbent(s) of any particular position. Provides accurate health information on a broad range of health issues 2. Provides onsite clinical services within the scope of practice of a registered nurse 3. Provides health assessment triage treatment and appropriate referral as needed 4. Maintains reports and record keeping; distributes health information and makes class and group presentations 5. Works closely with the Health Services Coordinator to facilitate the coordination of all programs and services 6. Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a Masters degree or above in nursing and a California Public Health Nurse certificate OR Bachelors degree in nursing a California Public Health Nurse certificate and a Masters degree or above in health education sociology psychology counseling health care administration public health or community health OR the equivalent (see below) Graduation from an accredited nursing school Possession of an active California Registered Nurse License Current CPR certification Demonstrated cultural competence sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic socioeconomic cultural disability gender identity sexual orientation and ethnic backgrounds of community college students faculty and staff
