Position Overview:
Project Transition is looking for a part time therapist to work with our cooccurring population of individuals who have mental illness and substance use disorders. We are looking to hire a professional who has a PA license or is license eligible LCSW LPC PsyD PhD or LMFT. Project Transition is an adult communitybased residential treatment program that provides individual and group therapy and recovery programming using an integrated cooccurring treatment model. Experience in treating individuals using Dialectical Behavior Therapy is desirable but not necessary. Will train as needed. Therapists will collaborate with a multidisciplinary Team to develop and implement our treatment and recovery programming.
Specific Duties:
Provide individual and group therapy to assigned members
Document services provided same day as service delivery
Participate in meetings with members and families
Participate in weekly treatment team meetings and additional consultation as needed
Implementation and provision of DBT Skills Education and Programming for Members and Staff desirable
Provide group and individual therapy for a minimum of assigned members based on Levels of Care
Provide family therapy/family meetings as needed
Implement and provide DBT initiatives as assigned including DBT informed clinical consultation group for community Team (desired but not required)
Facilitate understanding and use of DBT concepts contingency management DBT skills with the Team/Staff and members in the treatment milieu (desired but not required).
Participate in Morning Team Meeting; BIG Team Meeting
Participate in Performance Review Process
Qualifications
We are hiring professionals who have a clinical license in the state of PA either as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Psychologist (PsyD. PhD.. We will consider license eligible. Desired minimum of 3 years of experience in providing comprehensive care for individuals who have multidiagnostic psychiatric and cooccurring substance use disorders in a residential setting preferred.
Training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy desirable but not required we will train (DBT Intensive Training or Foundational Training)
Ability and interest in collaborating with a multidisciplinary Team consisting of psychiatrists community directors psychiatric rehabilitation counselors addictions counselors peer specialists recovery specialists wellness specialists and other therapists
Excellent communication interpersonal organizational and time management skills
Strong sense of teamwork and mentoring highly desired including ability to work with leadership and extended team remotely
Motivated individual with strong work ethic and ability to multitask
Must be a selfinitiator
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to selfmanage
