As a Skilled Carpenter position at Horizon you will

• Perform tasks required during general construction and renovation projects including alterations of walls carpentry drywall electrical doors ceilings plumbing floor covering and paint.
• Perform universal precautions and uses personal protective equipment.
• Coordinate work under the direction of the Construction Manager follows all OSHA DOH and building regulations.
• Report building deficiencies to the Construction Manager provides a safe and healthy environment for all clients and staff.
• Complete all appropriate paperwork.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 4 years of relevant experience required.
• Commercial construction experience preferred.

Location

This position is location at our corporate headquarters at 55 Dodge Rd Getzville NY 14068.

Position Hours

This is a fulltime role from Monday Thursday 5:30am 2:30pm and Friday 5:30am 11:30am.

Compensation

Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The range of pay for this position is $25.00 $26.50. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.

Physical demands associated with this position include:

• Stationary posture alternating between standing and sitting
• Ascending/descending on various structures (e.g. ladders)
• Local travel between worksites
• Operating machinery/power tools and occasional operation of company owned motor vehicles and heavy equipment
• Lifting objects up to 50 pounds occasionally up to 100 pounds
• Exposure to various environmental conditions including low/high temperatures and outdoor elements
