We are looking for a new colleague in the department Machine Elements at our location in Lommel or Antwerp.

Your tasks as Senior Engineer (m/f/d) Rolling Bearing Technology:
- Technical lead in driving innovations in roller bearing technology for wind turbine powertrains as well as in the development of inhouse design guidelines and calculation tools
- Collaboration in research projects together with internal and external experts about the development and validation of new roller bearing technologies
- Consult product development teams with regard to bearing selection and integration
- Advanced bearing analysis
- Define technical requirements towards suppliers and act as technical point of contact
- Knowledge sharing and training
Your profile as Senior Engineer (m/f/d) Rolling Bearing Technology:
- Masters degree in mechanical engineering or comparable
- Several years of work experience in roller bearing technology development and application engineering preferable related to wind turbine powertrain application (rotor bearings gearbox bearings generator bearings)
- Experience in advanced bearing analysis and rating
- Expertise in tribology and materials
- Capabilities in FEA analysis are a plus
- Strong communication skills ability to work in a team
- Fluent English language skills Dutch and German language skills are a plus
