Job Summary
The Senior Director of Middle College and Saturday Programs is responsible for expanding developing and administering all aspects of the Middle College and Saturday Program for high school students. The Middle College Program includes 68 participating high schools throughout the State of New Jersey and has an enrollment of approximately 2400 students. The Saturday Program offers FDU courses to high school students on both Metropolitan and Florham campuses. Responsibilities include: supervision of all correspondence relevant to the programs; recruitment of high schools for the Middle College and for Saturday Programs; serving as a liaison to internal and external audiences for the Middle College and Saturday Program; preparation of all contractual agreements; and development of appropriate promotional outreach and expansion strategies including onsite presentations. The Senior Director of Middle College and Saturday Programs is responsible for overseeing the recording of all grades on transcripts for Middle College students and oversees the mailing of transcripts at the end of the academic year. Sets up all online registration through Elevate for Middle College students and their families. Additional duties include working on the Summer PreCollege program and other additional duties as assigned by the Dean. This position reports to the Dean of Petrocelli College of Continuing Studies.
Required Qualifications
1.Masters degree or equivalent combination of education and applied experience in program development and delivery in a university/college/high school setting or in corporate training. 2.Skill in sales designing recruitment strategies and expanding programs for high schools within university settings. 3.Successful at working collaboratively with individuals and groups at all levels and capable of producing results immediately. 4.Excellent verbal and writing skills. 5.High energy initiative and drive for continuously improving programs and achieving successful sales and recruitment results. 6.Excellent computer skills including a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of Ellucian Colleague and ACE preferred. 7.Valid drivers license and accessibility to transportation for ravel to offsite locations. 8.Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
