Position: Consultant Anaesthetists
Location: Western Australia
Role Highlights:
- Provide comprehensive clinical service governance and leadership in Anaesthetics to promote quality health outcomes for patients of WA Country Health Service.
- Ensure the provision of comprehensive anaesthetic service and airway management to patients.
- Provision of anaesthetic services for patients having surgical medical obstetric or investigational procedures including continuous monitoring during such procedures.
- Preoperative assessment and early postoperative care of patients.
- Supervision of anaesthesia trainees and other staff as appropriate.

Qualifications:
- AHPRA registration.
- Fellowship of the Australasian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetics or equivalent.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in anaesthesia in general obstetrics paediatric and emergency anaesthesia.
- Lnowledge and understanding of the rural anaesthesia setting
- Ability to work as an effective team member.
- Highly developed communication interpersonal negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the Aboriginal Cultural Respect Framework
