Job Description
I have an ONSITE Lead Systems Administrator opportunity near Irving TX for an organization that is seeking a skilled professional to take charge of their IT infrastructure. Your role:
Lead the design and management of complex IT systems infrastructure ensuring optimal performance and security.
Oversee and support the setup configuration and maintenance of servers firewalls SANs hypervisors and data protection systems.
Mentor and provide direction to a growing team of systems administrators and engineers fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Manage server provisioning monitor network performance and ensure documentation of all IT processes and systems.
Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives making recommendations for upgrades system improvements and innovations.
Serve as the goto expert for troubleshooting critical issues leading emergency response and managing backup systems to ensure business continuity.
What youll need:
10 years of experience in systems/network administration with a focus on Windows Server platforms.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft operating systems MS Office Suite and experience with network architecture.
Experience with Linux Windows Exchange Office365 Active Directory VOIP and Cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
Excellent leadership abilities with a proven track record of guiding teams through complex IT challenges.
The ability to balance daytoday tasks with longterm strategic planning and system design.
