What you would be doing
As a Brand Ambassador you will work representing a wellknown client in a specific supermarket. promoting the brand and their new positions available. You will assist with screening interviews for the jobs available in store and work closely with the hiring manager.
Why is this job important
You will be helping the supermarket acquire new applicants (and hopefully new employees! by introducing the positions to customers and screening any interested candidates as well as providing their resume to the hiring manager.
You will directly contribute to the success of the client
You will be meeting new people and building relationships
What would a typical day look like
As a Brand Ambassador (onsite recruiter) you will be representing the client promoting the vacant positions at the store. You will be walking talking to customers and educating them about the benefits to work for our client as well as conducting informal prescreenings. If the candidate meets the requirement of the job and you think they would be a good match for the position you will be directing them to the hiring manager.
What skills do I need to be successful at this job
Excellent communication skills
Experience promoting a brand is an asset
Experience in customer service
Experience conducting interviews or prescreenings
Be comfortable approaching people
Experience working in sales is an asset
What are the requirements of this job
To be 18 years of age or older
Ethically represent the client
Experience conducting interviews
Pass a criminal record check as a requirement of employment
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
