Job Description
BASIC FUNCTION : Develop and deliver instructional lectures and laboratories for Nutritional Science/Dietetics courses up to 6 10 hours/week; Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning; Teach day evening and/or weekend teaching assignments which may include distance learning (interactive television online) and accelerated courses; Assess Student Learning Outcomes every semester; Participate in department division and collegewide initiatives and committees if desired.
Required Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS : The successful candidate must possess the minimum qualifications stated below: Masters in nutrition dietetics or dietetics and food administration OR Bachelors in any of the above AND Masters in chemistry public health or family and consumer studies/home economics NOTE : A bachelors in nutrition dietetics or dietetics and food administration and certification as a registered dietitian is an alternative qualification for this discipline.
