Be skilled at
- Engine assembly
- Test data processing and interpretation
Have experience of
- At least 3 years experience of mechanical or electrical rig testing and test automation systems
- Aptitude for computing MS Office and knowledge of ECU systems would be an advantage
Demonstrate knowledge of
- Sound electrical or mechanical knowledge of engines and their hybrid systems
Hold these qualifications
- Engineering Apprenticeship/BTEC/HNC mechanical engineering preferred

Success in this role will be if you
- Responsible for the daytoday operation and continuous improvement of the Power Unit Test Facilities
- Supervise and develop a team of Test technicians
- Support instrumentation calibration operation & maintenance requirements for area of ownership
- Develop your team with the required mechanical electrical and software skills to support the operation
- Develop and implement a facilities support strategy to include inhouse skills and develop skills matrix
- Development of test systems and test methodology
- Contribute to the strategic planning and monitoring
- Report to the Manager of the Test Operations Department
- Facility related Health Safety and Environmental Management
