NeighborHealth is seeking a skilled and compassionate parttime Endocrinologist to join our Specialties Department. The Endocrinologist will evaluate and manage patients with various endocrine disorders coordinate care with primary care and specialty providers and contribute to the improvement of workflows to enhance patient care. This role requires a commitment to evidencebased medicine strong communication skills and a passion for working with underserved populations.Endocrinologist (outpatient) will evaluate patients referred to the specialty clinic for various endocrinology related symptoms by taking detailed histories reviewing medical records and conducting appropriate physical exams. Additionally they will order further testing based on most up to date guidelines diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans based on their assessment. They will also communicate their plans to patients and their families as well as coordinate care with referring providers.
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an ACGMEaccredited endocrinology fellowship.
Board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology.
Active medical license in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain).
BLS certification required.
Strong analytical communication and problemsolving skills.
Experience with EMR systems preferably EPIC.
