This job will be part of the Worldwide Sales / Field Operations Group which is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships to sustain Keysights leadership in the market. Engineers and scientists in more than 14000 companies use Keysight offerings to research design develop manufacture install and maintain electronic components devices subsystems and systems. And all of them interface with Keysights global network of direct sales support and indirect channel partners.
Job Description
Keysight Technologies is the leader in electronic test and measurement equipment. Our Application Engineering organization is the premier technical pre/postsales support team in electronics manufacturing test. As a Keysight Application Engineer (AE) Intern you will work with test equipment used by the worlds leading technology companies to define and implement printed circuit board test methods and best practices. Keysight is the market leader in test systems for printed circuit board testing. Application Engineers provide presales and postsales support for Keysights family of circuit board test systems. The assignment for this internship will include attending the 2 week technical training class for the test system then working with the instructor and other AEs to convert the training from a face to face class to a virtual class.
This internship will be located in Santa Clara California.
Job Qualifications

This position requires the following skillsets and attributes with an emphasis on technical expertise and communication skills.
- BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education with emphasis in EE.
- completed 3rd year preferred
- Must be able to travel up to 25.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C C# or CPP preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic circuit design concepts and basic electronic instrumentation
- Ability to develop strong relationships with teammates.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Effective presentation and problem solving skills.
