Job Description
JOB DETAILS:
Responsible for diagnosing and repairing John Deere turf equipment
Setup and complete PDI for new John Deere equipment
Refurbish and prepare used units for sales deliveries
Pick up and deliver of customer equipment/carts (company provided vehicles)
Travel to golf courses complexes and/or businesses in order to assist customers and address concerns
Maintain equipment shop property and tools.
Maintain accurate and reliable records
Help maintain a safe clean and organized environment for customers and employees
Create a professional and positive experience for customers
Work 40 hours per week with possible overtime based on customer and seasonal demands
Ability to read write and communicate with coworkers and managers
Other duties as assigned by management
KNOWLEDGE AND REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a John Deere technician or verifiable training and work experience combined required
Knowledge of golf industry preferred
Golf cart and nonJohn Deere turf equipment experience a plus
Experience driving while towing a trailer preferred
Basic set of tools (company will provide John Deere specific tools as needed) required
Must be in good physical condition; you will be required to continuously lift up to 50 pounds routinely during the course of your shift this position will require heavy lifting carrying pushing bending twisting and pulling on a daily basis
Must possess a current drivers license and must be insurable. Must be able to pass a DOT physical
Able to travel to neighboring islands
Day Shift: Monday Friday
Wages: Starting at $28 per hour depending on experience
