Job Description
ATTENTION: This position requires graduation as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (or equivalent standing) and a state license as a Physical Therapist.

Overview:
Solutions Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is seeking a fulltime or parttime Physical Therapist for their Outpatient Orthopedic/Sports clinic in Alexandria VA. Located conveniently near King Street Station and across from Whole Foods in Old Town Alexandria this privatelyowned practice offers free underground parking for staff.
The clinic emphasizes manual therapy and functional exercise with a strong focus on mentorship training and team collaboration.
Caseload/Patient Population:
- 70 general orthopedics 30 sports for patients of all ages.
- PTs typically see 1112 patients per day.
Work Schedule:
- The clinic operates Monday through Friday.
- Schedule includes:
- 2 days a week from 7 am to 3:30 pm
- 2 days a week from 11:30 am to 8 pm
- Fridays alternate between 7 am to 3:30 pm and 10 am to 6:30 pm.
- No weekends or holidays required.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: Starting at $80000/year with increases based on experience and productivity.
- Benefits:
- Medical dental and vision insurance: Clinic covers 90 of the premium for employees and 50 for dependents (eligibility starts the first of the month after start date).
- 401k: 100 match up to 4 of salary (eligibility after 1 year).
- Continuing Education:
- Minimum of $1500/year with unlimited Medbridge access.
- Additional Coned funds available.
- OCS SCS prep tracks and residency options.
- PTO: 15 days annually for stafflevel PTs.
- Holidays: 6 paid holidays: Memorial Day 4th of July Labor Day Thanksgiving Christmas and New Years.
- APTA Dues: 50 covered.
- Malpractice Insurance.
- Paid parking in the building garage.
Job Requirements:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent standing.
- Eligible for or currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply; prior experience is not required.
- Fulltime preferred though candidates with at least 20 hours of availability and 3 weekdays can be considered.
