Pay range:
$50.78 $76.17Overlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Nurse Case Manager to support our Emergency Department. This position is responsible for initial medical necessity review for level of care as well as facilitating the patients ED presentation performing initial assessments for patients being admitted and coordinating resources for successful discharge from the ED back to the community. The Case Manager interfaces with Physicians Nurses Social Workers Payers and other healthcare team members to expedite medically appropriate costeffective care.
Schedule: Monday Friday Day Shift
Qualifications:
Associate degree in nursing required. Bachelors or Masters degree in nursing preferred.
Current Washington State license as a Registered Nurse required. Certified Case Manager (CCM) or Accredited Case Manager (ACM) certification preferred.
Five years acute care nursing experience required.
Prior case management utilization management and/or payer experience required.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers patients physicians and payors.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and computer skills.
