Junior Accountant
This is a contract opportunity.
This is a 100 remote position.
About this position
Were looking for a detailoriented and selfmotivated Junior Accountant to support inventory accounting accuracy and financial integrity. In this role youll be responsible for preparing reconciling and analyzing various financial adjustments that directly impact the Stock Ledger and enable better forecasting planning and reporting. This is a fully remote position ideal for someone who is highly organized analytical and comfortable working independently.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile financial adjustments to maintain Stock Ledger accuracy and support planning and forecasting.
- Research and resolve errors in daily transaction reports and respond to crossfunctional department inquiries.
- Develop and distribute reports on inventory valuation and shrink trends.
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls for audit readiness and participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Perform adhoc reporting and review peerprepared adjustments for accuracy.
Skills/Requirements
- Intermediate accounting knowledge and retail accounting experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables VLOOKUPs and basic formulas.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and build crossfunctional relationships.
- Highly organized selfdirected and able to manage multiple tasks in a deadlinedriven environment.

Pay Range
Pay Rate: $23/hour
