Job Summary:
The InHome Caregiver at Village Caregiving in Bowling Green Kentucky is a parttime hourly healthcare/medical position that provides compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes in Tompkinsville Ky. As an individual contributor you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients and their families by assisting with daily tasks and providing emotional support.
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation for this position is based on an hourly rate and will be discussed during the interview process. Benefits include flexible scheduling opportunities for career growth and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide support with daily living activities such as bathing dressing grooming and meal preparation
Assist with medication reminders and ensure medication is taken as prescribed
Help clients with mobility and light exercises as needed
Create a safe and comfortable environment for clients
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
Monitor and report any changes in clients physical or mental health
Communicate regularly with the clients family and medical team
Maintain accurate and uptodate records of care provided
Comply with all health and safety regulations
Attend trainings and workshops to improve caregiving skills
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in caregiving preferably in a home care setting
Ability to provide physical and emotional support to clients
Knowledge of basic healthcare procedures and safety precautions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
