THE OPPORTUNITY
The National College of Education (NCE) at National Louis University is pleased to announce its search for a fulltime faculty member in Secondary Education. We seek a colleague who can help provide leadership to the program in English/Language Arts (ELA). This professional educator may serve as Program Chair of Secondary Education working collaboratively with fulltime and adjunct faculty members for the preparation of teachers also in Social Sciences Mathematics Natural Sciences and World Languages.
This is a fulltime 10month openrank (Assistant/Associate) faculty position. The successful candidate will possess expertise in secondary education to support the growth of teacher preparation programs and to teach graduatelevel coursework at the masters level. Candidates will promote the infusion of current researchbased teaching methods into curriculum and instruction in NCEs traditional and alternative Secondary Education programs.

Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. Offers are based on multiple factors permitted by law including but not limited to: budgetary considerations jobrelated knowledge/skills experience current/previous faculty rank market considerations tenure and standing with the university (applicable to current employees) and internal equity.
