Job Description

Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Become knowledgeable in GEA FTs Robotic Milking Concept and Good Cow Milking techniques with basic hygiene knowledge.
  • Support and train how to use Dairyplan DairyNet suite CattleEye and CowScout software.
  • Analyze presale and prestartup herds prepare dealers and customers for transition and champion successful milking system startups and perform follow up support.
  • Assist technical support team and conduct software updates as necessary.
  • Consult customers on herd management/performance softwarerelated issues and conduct followup on farm visits and consultations with dealers and farmers.
  • Monitor and assist with current test farm installations.
  • Develop and deliver productfocused presentations to dealers and customers.
  • Attend trade shows and industry meetings actively participating in relevant industry organizations.
  • Stay informed on trending topics in dairy management that impact equipment software and herd management practices.
  • Communicate with management by means of call reports progress reports and dealer evaluations.
  • Cooperate and communicate with sales personnel by making them aware of new projects potential problems or anything concerning their area of responsibility.
  • Document and report the need for new products design changes and software changes to existing products

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Required preferred: B.S. in agricultural technical or related field with 1 years of experience or 4 years experience without degree.
  • Ability to travel 60 domestically
  • Proficiency in Herd Management software and data management.
  • Practical onsite experience in production agricultural systems.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate within a team to achieve common goals.
  • Flexibility and situational awareness to formulate quick action plans.
  • Strong training teaching and technical presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Software and data management experience
