The Surgical Services Department at UofL Hospital consists of the following two areas: Main Hospital and Outpatient Surgery Center. Surgical Services is open 24 hours a day and 365 days a year to ensure all surgeries including trauma/emergencies are completed and the communitys health needs are met. Our service lines include Robotics General Colorectal Urology Cancer Orthopedics Neurosurgery ENT Plastics and Oral Maxillofacial. In total we have 17 operating rooms with 2 Robotic rooms and 1 Trauma OR. Our staff take pride in offering excellent care to our patients as well as their families.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky
- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required for some units
- Associatess degree from accredited college or University
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from accredited college or University
