About This Opportunity
Executrade is excited to announce that we are in search of an Project Manager in the Earthworks industrybased in Calgary AB.
Key Responsibilities
As the Project Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and attend pretender meetings
- Review tender documents for requirements and potential issues.
- Arrange and conduct site inspections taking notes and photos for tender pricing
- Conduct detailed takeoffs and quote analyses
- Conduct site visits to monitor project status and identify extra work.
- Communicate daily with Superintendents about project schedules and issues.
- Liaise with Consultants regarding project approvals.
- Organize meetings with necessary stakeholders
- Order materials and coordinate with subcontractors.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials before crew mobilization
- Upload project maps and pretender photos to in house app
- Update critical paths during construction and document deviations.
- Conduct site safety inspections and track project progress using the in house software
- Foster longlasting relationships with clients consultants and developers.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role candidates should demonstrate the following:
- 3 years as a Project Manager in the Civil earthwork constructionfield
- C.E.T diploma or related education is a strong asset
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skill for building longlasting relationships with clients and vendors
- Excellent communication skills for effective and concise interaction
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects from start to completion with minimal supervision
