Position: Activities Maintenance Specialist

Location: Uinta County School District #1 Evanston Wyoming

Salary: S1; 621; $25.00 per hour

Hours: 12 months 8 hours per day with benefits

Primary Job Function:
The Activities Maintenance Specialist supervises and monitors facility maintenance and custodial operations issues and upkeep to ensure the safety and aesthetics of facilities. Organizes facility setup and teardown for events. Requisition services supplies equipment and materials required to ensure efficient operations in daytoday activities. The Uinta County School District #1 Activity Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the school system facilities and equipment are safe and maintained in such a manner as to enhance the educational program for all students.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Two 2 years of experience in a specialist area

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary functions may include the following duties responsibilities skills abilities and other characteristics. The list of tasks is illustrative only and is not intended to be a comprehensive listing of tasks performed by all positions within this classification.

Activity Maintenance Specialist Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the setup teardown and repairs to Activity Venues and Activity Equipment. Attend all K12 activity events and perform all duties related to the event.

Basic operation of a computer
Perform the more complex labor tasks related to Evanston Activities
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
Inspect all equipment before and after use; make safety routine
Perform a variety of tasks related to the athletic field pool and auditorium maintenance
Operating all equipment that may be necessary for maintenance of facilities including but not limited to movers scoreboards lights and sound systems
Clean and maintain tools work areas and equipment in a scheduled manner
Perform related duties as assigned

Leadership

Attend appropriate job training when provided
Supervise work crews when opportunities present themselves
Complete tasks that may not be assigned but may be necessary within the scope of the job
