Job Description
Job Title: Automation Tester
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our IT department. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in software testing and a strong background in automation testing. As an Automation Tester you will be responsible for designing developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve any issues or bugs and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that all requirements are met.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute automated test scripts using industrystandard tools and frameworks.
Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
Review and analyze system requirements and technical specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Perform regression testing to ensure that software applications are functioning as expected after changes or updates.
Document and report any defects or issues identified during testing and track them to resolution.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that all requirements are met and that software applications are delivered on time and within budget.
Stay uptodate with the latest trends and best practices in automation testing and recommend improvements to existing processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
2 to 5 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation testing.
Strong knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium Cucumber or JUnit.
Proficiency in programming languages such as PHP or Python.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Writing and developing Test User Journeys into Testing Tools
Collating and documenting testing requirements
Installing and managing the configuration of Performance Testing Tools
Writing and preparing technical performance test plans
Developing data driven test automation scripts
Using Load Runner (or other similar tools) to design and execute load and performance tests against Web applications and database
Utilizing load stress and analysis tools to model performance scenarios perform initial analysis using performance monitoring tool and identify potential system and resources bottlenecks
