Overview
Our law firm with offices in Virginia Beach Newport News Williamsburg and Gloucester is excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a talented Litigation Associate to join our dynamic team.
Duties:
- Litigate cases in court on behalf of clients
- Negotiate settlements and agreements with opposing parties
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
- Draft legal documents including pleadings motions and contracts
- Attend client meetings and provide legal advice and guidance
- Represent clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings
- Prepare for and participate in trials and hearings
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff on complex cases

Your Qualifications:
- Admission to Virginia State Bar
- Recent law school graduate or attorney with a minimum 13 years of experience.
- Demonstrated interest in litigation and a strong desire to develop your skills in this practice area.
- Excellent legal research writing and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills allowing you to work effectively with clients colleagues and opposing counsel.
