Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) RBT Supervisor
Location: Salinas CA
Travel Required: within Monterey County
Job Type: Fulltime (telehealth supervision hours in addition to inschool supervisor hours)
Salary: $28.00 $32.00 per hour
Work Setting: Hybrid (includes inschool hours and telehealth hours)
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am 8pm typically some mornings and/or weekends
What Youll Be Doing:
TheApplied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Supervisor/BCaBA/RBT position is an opportunity for a qualified professional with the necessary training education and experience to serve as a Qualified Autism Service Professional (QASP). In this role you will provide clinical supervision and oversee the implementation of ABA programs by Behavior Technicians within home programs and an elementary school. You will also be responsible for developing and executing individualized Treatment Plans under the guidance of a BCBA Licensed Individual or Clinical Director. With expertise in supporting individuals with developmental disabilitiesincluding autism spectrum disorder intellectual disabilities etc.you will ensure that interventions are evidencebased and tailored to each clients unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement ABA strategies behavior plans and crisis plans as designed by the BCBA in an elementary school setting for students identified as needing 1:1 support and displaying more intense behavioral needs in conjunction with the school team.

- Train supervise and provide guidance to Behavior Interventionists to ensure effective implementation of treatment plans reviewing client progress and goals regularly.
- Conduct assessments (e.g. VBMAPP ABLLSR VinelandIII) define target behaviors and establish treatment goals with guidance from the BCBA or Licensed Clinical Supervisor.
- Develop and manage behavioral intervention plans that promote adaptive skills and functional communication supporting clients in home school and community environments with direction from the BCBA.
- Train school support staff and caregivers by modeling and teaching intervention strategies that integrate into daily routines fostering client independence.
- Analyze data evaluate progress and provide written reports to ensure strategies are evidencebased and remain effective.
- Establish and maintain supportive relationships with all stakeholders including caregivers school team members etc. promoting collaboration and a positive environment.
- Manage ABA session schedules making adjustments or cancellations as needed to ensure consistent and effective service delivery.
- Work primarily with children and adolescents up to 18 years of age.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years of professional experience in implementing behavior modification intervention services or working in a similar role (in either a school or inhome setting)
- Bachelors Degree or higher in a related field (if lacking two years of ABA experience)
- Availability to work a consistent schedule (afternoons/evenings with some weekend/morning availability)
- This job requires a criminal background check
- This job requires a Physical (past year) and TB Test (past 90 days)
- CPR & First Aid Certification
- Must have reliable transportation valid auto insurance and a drivers license
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Travel (required)
Preferred Requirements:
- BCaBA OR working towards your BCBA Certification required
- Experience working in a school setting in both general and special education classrooms.
- Experience working with individuals who emit severe challenging behaviors such as aggression property destruction and elopement from the classroom.
- Experience in home ABA programs
- Spanish speaking a plus
