Job Description
SkillsetGroup is seeking a Maintenance Manager to work in the city of West Sacramento CA area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment machinery and facilities to ensure smooth and efficient production operations. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs coordinating with engineering and production teams and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role also involves managing maintenance staff troubleshooting equipment issues optimizing performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime. Additionally the Maintenance Manager maintains accurate records plans and schedules maintenance activities and fosters a positive work environment.This will be a 1st shift (WITH flexibility) position and a Direct Hire opportunity. Job Title: Maintenance Manager
- Direct Hire
- Pay: $110137k/yr. with 15 bonus potential
- Hours:
- 1st shift: MondayFriday but need to be flexible
Requirements:
- 5 years experience as a Maintenance Manager in manufacturing food beverage industry. Would consider a Supervisor if they meet all other requirements.
- Need candidates from manufacturing in a medium to large size plant 300 employees).
- Bachelors degree REQUIRED (engineering preferred)
- HIGHLY preferable they have Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma training which they have actually implemented.
- Responsible for ensuring safety and compliance coordinating maintenance and repairs develop/implement PM lead/motivate team
- Troubleshoot modify and enhance PLC programming and related equipment to improve production methods equipment performance and product quality.
- Bilingual is HIGHLY preferred.
